Epic has not promised an Unreal Engine 6 segment at State of Unreal 2026. UE6 was teased by name during the Rocket League reveal on May 24, 2026, but the company's framing for this keynote points at developer tooling, not a UE6 launch moment. Treat any "UE6 will be revealed on June 17" headline as speculation until the show airs.
That said, this is the most likely venue for a UE6 update if one comes — Tim Sweeney is on stage, and previous Sweeney comments put UE6 preview builds an estimated 2027-2028 out (low confidence).
